Take the D or the M to 18th Ave and then walk west along 86th st and south (a left) on 14th ave.
(You can also take the B1 bus - walking distance is about a mile)
or
Take the R to 86th st and then walk east along 86th st and south (a right) on 14th ave.
(You can also take the B64 bus - walking distance is over a mile)

Prospect Park

Take the F train to 15th St - Prospect Park Station. Walk into the park towards the ballfields.

Van Cortland Park

Take the 1 to 242nd St - Van Cortlandt Park Station.
